For the first time in more than a decade the east coast of Florida stared down the barrel of a significant hurricane that was projected to ride alongside the coast and make landfall somewhere from Miami to the Carolinas. Boca Raton continues to grow and one example of it’s impact is the increased traffic on city roadways. Students and college staff at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton (FAU), along with commuters should experience relief in the form of the construction of a new exit leading off Spanish River Boulevard to FAU. This should relieve some of the congestion on both Glades and Yamato Roads.
